Helen Simmons
Meets: 4th Mondays
Time: 1:00 P.M.
Northbrook House
This Circle is a "projects" Circle. Instead of having programs,
they work on projects after their devotional and brief business
meeting.
Some past efforts include making simple quilts, beanbags, sheets
and bibs for North Fulton Child Development Center, and preparing
stew for the NFCC Food Pantry.
They also hold an Annual Craft and Bake Sale in early December
with proceeds donated to several missions. They are striving to
grow in Christ while serving others.
Hannah
Meets: 3rd Tuesdays
Time: 10:00 A.M.
Member's Home
This Circle meets for fellowship, food, study and missions. They
use Christ's life as their example of service to God and to those
in need. The Hannah Circle puts their words into action through
various "hand’s-on" projects throughout the year
while supporting the various ongoing UMW missions. They chose
the name Hannah because of her total dedication to God and her
willingness to give up her most precious gift, her son Samuel,
for service to Him.
Henrietta Baughcum
Meets: 3rd Tuesdays
Time: 10:00 A.M.
Member's Home
This Circle is a pleasant mix of wonderful women. They enjoy
refreshments, conversation,
and a spiritual program or mission project. They actively support
two missions; Star House at Tahoe and Murphy Harpst Children's
Center. This Circle also assembles their famous Bean Soup mix
with the proceeds going to various UMW projects.
Ruth
Meets: 3rd Tuesdays
Time: 10:00 A.M.
Member's Home
This Circle is a senior group, which meets monthly in the home
of one of its members. Their programs consist of devotion and
Bible study selected by the person giving the program. Their mission
outreach projects include supplying North Fulton Child Development
Center with food and needed supplies as well as hosting Bingo
at a local nursing home.
Naomi
Meets: 3rd Tuesdays
Time: 10:00 A.M.
Member's Home
This Circle meets each month in a member's home or at the church.
Their programs help them develop as whole persons through Jesus
Christ, to strengthen their love and support of each other and
throughout the world. Their mission outreach projects are supplying
Star House with school supplies, paper supplies and snacks. The
Naomi Circle also supports Murphy Harpst Children's Centers.
Suzanna Wesley
Meets: 3rd Mondays
Time: 7:30 P.M.
Room 226
This Circle meets each month at the church. At the beginning
of the year, members
sign up for a specific month to do a program of their choice.
The programs emphasize spiritual
growth and missions, and may include book reviews, guest speakers,
or making something
for a mission. They cover old and new business, and participate
in prayer, fellowship, food and
fun. Ten of the twelve months follow this schedule, but in summer
and in December, they
meet in a local restaurant to socialize. This Circle supports
the Campus Crusade for Christ with monthly donations.
Mary Martha
Meets: 3rd Tuesdays
Time: 10:00 A.M.
Member's Home
This Circle is a group of women of all ages who meet each month
in a member's home. They gather for spiritual growth and enrichment,
do several mission projects, and fellowship together. They hope
to combine the attributes of Mary; sitting and listening to the
Word, and her sister Martha; working physically in the community.
