Yes! CONNECT is for all women, of all ages and stages of life, who seek a deeper relationship with Christ and the fellowship of women.
CONNECT is about challenging ourselves, asking bold questions, and finding real answers. It’s about spending time with other Christian women in an open, accepting, and welcoming atmosphere.
CONNECT meets twice a month: the first meeting features a dynamic speaker, and the second is for deeper discussion, bible exploration, and fellowship.
Who are the speakers? Our speakers come from all backgrounds and denominations. They are women with and without children, women who are married or unmarried; but all are women with a love of Christ and a gift for sharing that love, through their speaking ministries.
What are the topics? CONNECT ministry explores a wide range of topics, with the purpose of seeking spiritual growth, discussion, and a deeper connection with our Savior. We may explore service through the story of Mary and Martha one month…then talk about Living Water the next…and perhaps the struggle of balancing life and faith, the month after that!
When and Where are the meetings? CONNECT meets two (2) Wednesday mornings each month, Sept. through May, from 9:45 to 11:30 a.m. (For complete schedule, please see reverse.) We typically meet in the End Zone (youth rooms at the end of the upstairs hallway in Building B), but location will depend upon registration and number of participants.
How can I be a part of CONNECT? Simply fill out the form below, attach your $50 registration fee for the first half of the year (Sept.-Dec.), and drop in the offering plate or at the church office. Scholarships are always available; please email CONNECT co-leader, Laura Hensley, for more information (lauramh@bellsouth.net). Registered participants are welcome to bring a friend or visitor to “try us out” at any meeting! Childcare is available at no extra charge, but you must reserve a nursery space in advance, by emailing child’s name/age to lauramh@bellsouth.net. |
