The Church Council leads the congregation in long-range
planning and in carrying out its program, so that people
are received into its fellowship, encouraged in strengthening
their relationship with God, and supported as they live
as Christian disciples. It serves as the executive agency
of the conference, overseeing the administration and
programs of the congregation. The council is composed
of the following groups and committees: |

Staff-Parish Relations Committee
Chairperson –Wade Starling
To support the pastors and other staff so that
these people can work effectively in managing
the ministry of the congregation for witness and
service. |

Finance Committee
Chairperson – Scott McKelvey
To propose, raise, manage, and distribute the
financial resources of the congregation to support
and strengthen the mission and ministry of the
congregation. |

Outreach Committee
Chairperson – Shannon Georgecink
To ensure that the congregation reaches out to
people with the good news of Jesus Christ and
receives them into its care so that they may develop
a relationship with God and live as Christian
disciples. |

Trustees
Chairperson – Jeanette Rogers
The board of trustee's have the responsibility
of supervision, oversight, and care of all the
real property, physical facilities and legal
responsibilities of the church. |

Worship Committee
Chairperson – Phil Dodson
To work with the pastors and music leaders to
ensure that the congregation provides opportunities
for worship that will help people develop and
strengthen their relationship with God and will
help them live more faithfully as Christian disciples. |

Prayer Ministry
Chairperson – Patty Lyons
To develop pecific prayer vigils for causes in the church, community and around the world. Meets in the balcony 15 minutes prior to worship services.

Missions Committee
Chairperson – Andrea Youngstrom
To uncover community concerns and hopes and to
encourage members of the congregation to become
involved in missions and service projects in the
community.

Generosity Committee
Chairperson – Alan Wildes
To help people understand the meaning of Christian
stewardship and the need to practice it in all
of life. To coordinate the planning and implementation
of a comprehensive program of stewardship education,
inspiration, and action. |

Chairperson – Carol Hill
To provide the emotional and spiritual care we need when faced with a crisis or difficulty.
