BLOOD DRIVE – Sunday March 7th - 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. In the US, about 4 million people need blood each year. That’s one person every two seconds, and the overwhelming majority of people who need it would die without it. Every donation makes a difference in someone’s life! Our church family’s response last September was tremendous, and our goal for March is 70 donors. Sign ups for donors, registration workers, and baked goodies for the donors will take place on the patio on Sundays February. 14, 21, and 28. You will also be able to sign up on-line. If you have any questions, please feel free to call Lynn Clements at 770-751-9728 or e-mail her at Lynnc104@comcast.net. |

Ministry Fair Sunday, March 7, 10:30-11:00AM and immediately following the 11AM service: What is YOUR ministry here at Northbrook? Join us for our Ministry Fair and see how you can expand your faith by learning, serving or sharing your talents right here at Northbrook and nearby agencies. You will have the opportunity to meet leaders from adult and children's Sunday schools, youth groups, bible study, music, and mission outreach groups within the church as well as organizations from outside the church that provide assistance to the community. ESL Program It’s just amazing that every week we have more and more students and families coming. We keep growing, so we always need more help. We specially need people that can help us to drive the church vans and the bus to pick up the families: We need help on Tuesdays (need to be in the church at 5:30 to go and pick them up, and then take them back at 8:00) and Fridays (need to be in the church at 9:30 to go and pick them up, and then take them back at 12:00) To drive the Bus you need a CDL license. There is not a special requirement to drive the vans, as long as you have a valid license and you are over 25 years old. If you think you may be able to help in this way, do not hesitate to contact me. Contact Rodrigo Cruz at 770-998-2000 ext 243
or rcruz@northbrookumc.com. |
