Great Day of Service 2011 - FAQ  

What time are we starting?

If you are part of the Habitat for Humanity Group or Homestretch River Run/Volunteer Group please expect an email from your group leader (Gene Jernigan for Habitat and Chris Holcombe for Homestretch) regarding the time and location for meeting. Everyone else should plan to gather at Northbrook UMC for an opening service at 8:30 AM. x

 

Will we have breakfast this year as is in past years? 

Breakfast will be available at 8:00 AM and you can pick up T-shirts at that time. The price of $8 is to cover the cost of the T-Shirt.
 

Will there be childcare and what are the times? 

Yes, we plan to have childcare from 9 - 1 (room TBA).

 

Will someone call me to let me know what to bring the day of the project? 

You should get some additional details from your project coordinator sometime this week and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

 

Who should I call if I am running late and will not make it back in time before childcare ends?

Please reach out to Trey Kinney at 404-932-4069 and let him know when you will be able to return to church.

 

Do we have to return to church after the projects are completed?

No, you can go ahead and return home once your project is complete. Also, everyone from all projects regardless of completion time are invited to join us for a cookout and fellowship at Birmingham UMC from 4-6PM.
