Northbrook has a very active UMM. The backbone of our men’s ministry is our Men’s Wesley Small Groups. These teams of 6-8 men meet weekly at church, homes and restaurants for Christian study, support and fellowship. The men also spearhead numerous programs and activities such as:
- Christmas Tree Sale for Children’s Missions
- Annual Father-Child Camping Trip
- Disaster Relief Projects
- FastPlay Sports Ministries for Children
- Annual Alvin Quarles Memorial Golf Tourney for Missions
- Rock Eagle Annual Spiritual Growth Retreat
- Church Buildings & Grounds Improvement Projects
- Marriage Enrichment Programs
- “A-Men” (men’s chorus)
- Local community missions projects

In addition to the weekly Small Group meetings, once a quarter a combined “Big Group” breakfast meeting for all men of the church is held with an inspirational guest speaker. Whether you are a new member or have been around a while, whether you are young or old, we would love to have you participate in a Small Group, the Big Group, or any of our programs and acitivities. New members and new ideas are always welcome. |
