How long does a group meet when it gathers?

Most groups meet for 1.5 to 2 hours each week or every other week. Groups that meet just before or after work or during lunch usually last for one hour.

Does the church decide the curriculum for the group study?

No. The groups prayerfully consider study options and decide the best study for their groups. We've discovered that spiritually-focused groups know better than the church office the appropriateness of a study relative to the group's spiritual maturity.

What if I visit a group and it doesn’t seem to be the right fit?

Try another one! Call us and we can arrange for you to visit another group. All of our group leaders are agreeable to this process of visitation, so don't feel badly if your first connections isn't the right one. God has a group for you!

Are the leaders trained?

Yes, We have an extensive training program to prepare leaders to care for souls. This includes an initial leader training and ongoing events designed to shape leadership skills.
