The men’s small group ministry at Northbrook is thriving. An extension of the United Methodist Men, the ministry of the Men’s Small Groups has seen phenomenal physical and spiritual growth since the ministry’s launch in the fall of 2005. One group getting together weekly to “do life together” has evolved into a ministry with over 10 groups and over 70 men.
The men’s small groups are groups of men joining together for study and fellowship. Each group establishes its own agenda of meeting time and frequency. Some meet during the day - others in the evening. Some prefer mid-week - others on weekends. Learn more of what to expect from a men’s small group.
The men’s small group ministry is the hub of the entire men’s ministry at Northbrook. The weekly meetings of the individual groups fosters an environment conducive to ministry which reaches far outside of the Northbrook’s walls. The men who are involved in a small group are very active in other areas. Please check out Men’s Activities and let us know your interests and if you would like to have more info.
There is room for you in a small group. We are constantly starting new groups and assimilating men into existing groups. If you are interested in possibly joining a group or would like to speak to someone about the men’s small group ministry please click small group inquiry and submit the basic info form. We will contact you in a timely manner and answer any questions you might have. |
