CHILDREN’S CHOIRS
Each of our children’s choirs sings regularly for morning worship and present two seasonal music programs in the school year. Our choir year will begin August 25 and run through April 27.

Cherub Choir, 3 years – Kindergarten
meets Wednesdays 6:00 – 6:30 in Room 133.
Our Choir Leader is Ms. Genevieve Stevens. The Carol Choir is designed to introduce children to the joys of music making through the playing of games and percussion instruments. Children will learn to be worship leaders as they are taught scripture through song and given opportunities to sing about their faith in worship services. |

The Carol Choir, 1st Grade – 2nd Grade meets Wednesdays 6:00 – 6:40 in the
Handbell Room of the Music Suite. Choir Leader for this choir is Holly O’Donnell. The Carol Choir will learn to sing lovely melodies in various styles of music. They will learn to sing in rounds and be introduced to basic musical skills using percussion instruments. They will participate in worship and share their faith through song throughout the school year. |

News Choir

The Good News Choir, 3rd – 5th Grade meets Wednesdays 6:00 – 6:40 in the Choir Room of the Music Suite. The Choir Leader is Beth Reams. Children in the Good News Choir are introduced to broader styles of music and foreign language. They continue their love of singing in rounds and begin to sing in two part harmony. They also learn new and more advanced musical concepts including sight-singing and proper vocal production. |
