A Mommy and Me music program is offered at Northbrook Preschool in Roswell, GA. The program consists of 45 minute classes running for 12 weeks. The classes will be held on Mondays at 9:45-10:30am or 10:45-11:30am for infants and children up to age 3.
Either mom, dad, or another significant adult will participate with the child in activities like finger plays, nursery rhymes, chants and developmentally appropriate songs. The class explores rhythm instruments, puppets and visual learning aids through songs, dance and movement. It is a wonderful way to explore the musical world and build a relationship with each other through play and parent modeling.
The class is taught by Karen Hughes, the music teacher for Northbrook Preschool, who has 10 years of experience at Northbrook and is a registered Music Therapist.
