Sunday Worship Services

9:30 a.m. Sundays
This service is a traditional worship service that features contemporary music with My Call, the adult praise band and worship team.

11:00 a.m. Sundays
This service is a traditional worship service, incorporating hymns, prayer, scripture, and sermon as well as a children’s sermon. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month, and the sacrament of Christian baptism is frequently observed. Stirring music by the Northbrook choir, special music provided by our youth and children’s choirs, and frequent special instrumental music make this service a vital part of our worship as a congregation.

Children in Worship
We love having children in worship at Northbrook! Children's worship bulletins are available in the baskets at the entrance to the Sanctuary. Children three-years-old through 3rd grade are encouraged to participate in the children's sermon. The children's sermon addresses the same topic as the "grown-up" sermon, to encourage family discussions. After the children's sermon, preschoolers may be taken to their Sunday school classrooms.

Childcare
A loving nursery is available for infants through two-years of age during the 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. worship services. A greeter or usher will be happy to escort you to the nursery rooms located on the lower level of building B. Pagers are available for parents who request them.

Weddings
Northbrook United Methodist Church welcomes the use of its facilities for the joyous occasion of Holy Matrimony. We provide a loving Christian environment for a meaningful worship celebration. Both members and non-members are welcome. weddings at Northbrook information . . .
