What is Training Day? |
Training day is an event for volunteers in ministry areas on Sunday mornings.

Who should come to Training Day? |
All those who currently serve or would like to serve in the following areas:
Ushers Greeters Scripture Readers Acolytes Running sound for worship Communion Servers Homebound Communion Servers Homebound Visitation Youth ministry Children’s ministry (including youth-aged volunteers) |
What if I want to serve in more than one area? |

Please attend the training for the area with which you are least familiar. |
Should I come if I have been serving in a certain capacity for a number of years? |
In an effort for us to have the same information and to appear highly organized and unbelievably hospitable -- we would like for you to attend training day. Plus, lunch is served and you will be hungry after church!

Do I need to register? |
That would be helpful. Please indicate if you are attending lunch and which area of ministry you are choosing. Please email dnysewander@northbrookumc.com with your information. BY FRIDAY!

Where is Training Day happening? |
Lunch will be served in the fellowship hall while we hear a presentation about being a Safe Sanctuary for children and vulnerable adults. We will then break up into smaller groups for each individual ministry.
Sanctuary: Ushers, Greeters, Scripture readers, communion servers and acolytes. Homebound visitation and communion: Room 226 Youth Ministry: End Zone youth area Children’s ministry: Children’s area |

What if I have my children with me? |
Your children are welcome to come to lunch and we will have child care available if needed. You MUST register for childcare by emailing Leslie: lbowers@northbrookumc.com BY FRIDAY
