Our Men’s Ministry provides an opportunity for men of the church and community to meet in small group settings to study and apply God’s Word in their lives, as well as encourage each other on a personal level. Groups are encouraged to remain small to promote personal relationships; each group is typically made up of 6 to 12 men. Most groups meet on a weekly basis for 1 hour at a regular time and place designated by each individual group. Next Big Group- March 17th, 6:30am Fellowship Hall
Once each quarter all men of the church are invited to enjoy breakfast, fellowship and an inspirational speaker together. All the men of the church are invited. No reservation is needed. Good breakfast, good fellowship, a little bit of comedy, a little bit of worship and an inspirational message – all packed into less than 90 minutes. We start at 6:30 a.m., and we promise to have everyone out the door and on their way by 8:00 a.m. Contact Phil Dodson at (404) 516-2259 or (email@example.com).
Christmas Trees for Kids
For more than a decade, the men of Northbrook have conducted Christmas Trees for Kids – a Christmas tree sale from which 100% of proceeds are donated to agencies which minister to children in need. For 2016 our tree sale will again support Murphy-Harpst and Street GRACE. Murphy-Harpst is a residential facility in Cedartown for the most abused and neglected children in Georgia, and Street GRACE is an alliance of churches in Metropolitan Atlanta dedicated to rescuing children from the brutality of commercial sexual exploitation. The tree sale, which begins on the day after Thanksgiving and runs through mid-December, is fully-staffed by men who volunteer their time to make a difference in the lives of children who desperately need to feel the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
