What is Northbrook UMC MOPS?
Northbrook Mops is a Christian community of women, with at least one child from birth to kindergarten.
Being a mom is beautiful and hard and we get that sometimes you just need a safe place to breathe.
A place to get some encouragement that what you are doing matters.
MOPS membership provides resources that remind you that you are important and we are all in this together.
In each meeting moms experience…
- authentic community,
- mothering support,
- personal growth and
- spiritual hope
Come join us to laugh, cry, and embrace the journey of motherhood together.
MOPS exists for YOU!
Is there childcare at the MOPS meetings?
Yes! MOPS kids is a fun and loving children’s program designed to provide a safe environment for your child/children, run by trained, dependable caregivers. Infants are well cared for but are welcome to remain in the meeting with you as well (up to age six months) Your child(ren) will enjoy playtime, bible stories, singing, crafts, games, and snacks! Moppets is more than just “childcare” – it’s a program your children will enjoy and look forward to… so you can fully enjoy MOPS!
MOPS Kids is available at our regular MOPS meetings (Sept-May) and is included in your yearly MOPS membership dues. Childcare drop off is 9:30 am and pick up is at 11:45 am on MOPS’ meeting days.
