Hey there...Here at Northbrook, we believe that real encounters with God happen through our digital spaces. As we engage in conversation, we can see the Image of God in one another even through a screen. When we experience art together, we are able to connect on a deeper level. Virtual space is not unholy. Virtual space is where we are the most!
Follow us on our social media platforms, register for email or check us out at NorthbrookUMC.com/DigitalCampus to join the movement. Northbrook's Digital Camps is discipleship for the real world. ValuesWe believe community happens online. It's how we make friends, keep up with family, and even date. In today's world, digital is indispensable from relationships.
We offer quality content as relevant resources for the spiritual life. We aim to be compelling but approachable. We asks difficult questions and invites authentic responses, encourage interaction, and being comfortable with saying "I don't know." We promote encounters with God, not our our next on campus event. Social media takes a verity of perspectives to make it worthwhile, so we invite lots of people to contribute to the digital campus. |
Digital Campus TeamWe have lots of people who support this movement from the Planning Team to Beta Test Team. Maybe you've been asked to be a part of this moment, and you're wondering 'what does that mean?' We need people to give honest feedback on our posts, videos, images, and podcasts. We want you to comment, like, critique and engage with the content we put forth on our platforms and blog.
We know that we're not gonna hit it out of the park with every post, but we want to know what content or conversation is helpful, meaningful, or relevant to your life right now. If you are a part of our team, we might ask you to take a survey now and then to get a little more information, and we promise to show our appreciation for your time and feedback. |
