Did you know that foster parents cannot use just any babysitters? Babysitters for foster kids must be trained and background checked. Because of this many foster parents struggle to find time for themselves. That is why NUMC is partnering with the the United Methodist Children's Home to host a Foster Parent's Night Out. On Saturday, July 14, trained staff from the Children's Home will join with our volunteers to host a night of fun and games for foster children in our community so that their parents can have some well-deserved time off with the peace of mind that their kids are being well cared for. Please help us host these kids by signing up to volunteer here ate NUMC from 3:30-8:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 14.
