More than 40 years after the seed was planted for a new Methodist congregation in North Roswell, Georgia, Northbrook UMC has grown to a congregation of over 250 families in three buildings, with modern and traditional worship opportunities, Sunday school classes and small groups, an accredited preschool program, strong family ministries, and countless ways to serve and share the love of Christ.
The vision God had for Northbrook UMC in 1979 continues to grow in the hearts of the people of Northbrook as we worship together, grow in our faith, and serve Christ throughout our community and the world.
Today at Northbrook we are focused on three specific actions, Encountering God, Loving Others, and Serving those in Need.
Just as our charter members looked toward the future of a new congregation, today we look for new possibilities realized by Launching Our Legacy.
We've created a booklet that showcases Northbrook's past, present and future, a tool to help you prayerfully consider your 2023 giving commitment. You may also request that one of these booklets may be mailed to you by contacting Betsy Rhame-Minor. Click here or on the photo above to access the file. You may also pick up a physical copy on campus in the Narthex or front office.
