Celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus at Northbrook
Northbrook UMC has some very special events planned for the Lent and Easter season. Please join us! All are welcome.
You can pick up your family's purple Lenten Bag at the Ash Wednesday worship service, or throughout Lent in the Narthex or church office. We encourage families to collect loose change in these bags to be donated at Easter to Trinity Table, a mission of Atlanta's Trinity UMC.

The curriculum to accompany our Lenten sermon series is a book called "The Difficult Words of Jesus." If you'd like a copy of this book, they are $10 each and available in the church office.
You can pick up a physical copy of the Lent Devotion Guide in the Narthex or church office throughout Lent. Or, you may download an electronic copy here.

On Easter Sunday, the altar will be filled with Easter lilies given in honor or in memory loved ones. If you ordered one, please take it home with you on Easter Sunday to enjoy. Lilies left behind will be given out to those on the Northbrook prayer list and others in the congregation and community.
On Palm Sunday, April 2, there will be one combined worship service at 11 a.m. in the Sanctuary. There will be no modern worship, The Brook, that day.
Northbrook will hold a Maundy Thursday service on Thursday, April 6 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. The service will include foot washing. The nursery will offer childcare during the service. Northbrook will hold a Good Friday service on Friday, April 7 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. The service will also be livestreamed. The nursery will offer childcare during the service. |

On Easter Sunday, April 9, Northbrook will hold three services:
- Sunrise communion service at 7 a.m. in the outdoor sanctuary. To access the outdoor sanctuary, park in the southeast corner of the parking lot near the retention pond. The outdoor sanctuary is in the grass between the parking lot and the Northbrook House.
- Identical worship services at 9 and 11 a.m. in the Sanctuary. Childcare will be available in the nursery. The 11 a.m. worship service will be livestreamed.
For a special Easter photo opportunity, bring flowers from your yard for the cross on the patio.
