Northbrook WomenOur Women’s Ministry is a community of women helping women grow in the love of Jesus Christ. Inspired by the truth of 1 John 4:19, “We love because he first loved us,” we seek to nurture spiritual growth, encourage one another, and share Christ’s love through fellowship, service, and study. Together, we strive to build lasting relationships rooted in God’s love and grace.

Special Programs
Friendship Luncheons
The Friendship Sunday School class is made up of some of our older, long-time church members. We show them a little love by providing a luncheon in someone’s home. Volunteer opportunities include hosting the meal in their home, providing transportation, assisting them into the house, preparing food, and serving the meal. Contact: Leigh Ann Launius
MOMCO (The Mom Community)
Formerly MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), this is a group of mothers with young children who meet at Northbrook, two Thursdays each month, for fellowship and a program. Northbrook Women support this fellowship by providing: 1) a meal, a few times a year; and 2) Mentor Moms. Mentor Moms attend all meetings and are assigned a table (with a set group of young moms) and commit to praying for them, and serve as a voice of guidance as they walk the life of a young mom. Contact: Leigh Ann Launius
Northbrook's Dream Weavers
This group is seeking donated plastic grocery bags to be turned into sleeping mats for those experiencing housing insecurity. Bags can be left at the donation center on the Portico. Reach out if you would like to join this group and learn how to weave.
